Privacy Policy

Swaad is a cloud-based app. You sign up with an email address, and your recipes, costs, and production logs are stored securely on our servers so your team can access them from any device. Your data is auto-backed up every day and you can export it as CSV at any time.

Account data: your name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash).

Business data: the recipes, ingredients, vendors, purchase logs, batches, and production records you choose to enter.

Operational data: basic logs (IP address, timestamps, error reports) needed to keep the service secure and reliable.

Your data is hosted on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Daily automated backups are retained so we can restore your account in case of an incident.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and minimal product analytics to understand which features are used. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

We use trusted infrastructure providers for hosting, email delivery, and error monitoring. These providers process data only on our instructions and under their own security obligations.

We do not sell your business data. We share data only when legally required, or with the service providers listed above, strictly to run Swaad.

You can view, edit, and export your data from inside the app at any time. You can request account deletion by contacting support · once deleted, your data is removed from active systems and from backups within 30 days.

Swaad is intended for use by kitchen professionals and business owners. The app is not directed at children under 13.

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page.
